Application Not Available Short term Winter Road Security Officer Job Summary Asheweig Winter Roads is seeking individuals to fill the Winter Road Security Officer positions on two week rotation during the 2005 winter road season. The security officers will work under the direction and supervision of the AWRC General Manager. Duties and Responsibities - Ensure that entrance of all contraband through the winter road is search and destroyed as per instruction of the Asheweig Winter Road Coporation and First Nation involved. - Keep a record of all outgoing and incoming vehicles to ensure that the winter road fees are collected for both personal and commercial users. - Keep a record of all incoming transport trucks for the purposes of charging toll fees to the transport companies - Maintain good working relationship with Chief and Council of each respective First Nation. - Work closely with the Nishnabwe Aski Police Services to ensure safely of all winter road users. Working Conditions/Location Security Officers will rotate every 2 weeks with a minimun of four (4) officers per shift. Location is on the winter road 30km south of Kingfisher Lake.
